The National Circus Arts Centre is being built next to the Nyugati Railway Terminal

After today afternoon show Péter Fekete, ministerial commissioner for the reformation of circus art announced a glad tiding in the circus floor of the Capital Circus of Budapest.

Due to decision of the Hungarian government the Hungarian circus art with great tradition will be given a new building: the construction of the National Circus Arts Centre will be started in one of the most valuable areas of Budapest, next to the Nyugati railway station, which will be a worthy home of the world famous Hungarian circus art both in its size and its standards.

With designating the place of the Circus Art Center we have reached an important milestone as the fruits of labour of many years hard work. It is our common joy for all of us, which we wish to share with all the members of this profession and with the friends of circus as well.

We also gladly inform everyone that the Capital Circus of Budapest can operate imperturbably in its current location, the City Park until the opening ceremony of the new building.
