The audience gave a thunderous applause at the premiere of Atlantic Flight – Fountain Circus Show on the 7th of April, Saturday, at 19:00 in Capital Circus! The show will be featured in Capital Circus for five months until the 9th of September.
The famous circus artist prepares a unique, special production for the Sziget Festival, with which he creates with the third and fourth year student and graduates of the Baross Imre Institute of Artist Education. The casting combined with the casting was held all through last week, and soon it will be announced, that who will be those 12-20 people, with whom he will start the rehearsals for this incomparable contemporary circus art presentation.
Ludas Matyi in the Circus will be on show in the Capital Circus until the 2nd of April! On this occasion we have made an interview with the director of the play, Péter Fekete Ministerial Commissioner, General Commissioner of Capital Circus!
From tomorrow, the 21st of March Ludas Matyi in the Circus will return to Capital Circus! We created this production mainly for elementary school students, but it entertains the whole family regardless when they got acquainted with the poem of Mihály Fazekas.
The last show of the Carnival of Champions in the Circus enjoyed great success! On the 11th of March, Sunday, ambassadors of 27 countries visited the show started at 15:00 with their families. The ambassadors and their families were greeted with red carpet in front of the Capital Circus. There was wheel of fortune, face painting, and animators for the entertainment of the guests.

It has been only a few days since Péter Fekete ministerial commissioner, General Director of Capital Circus made his speech about the state of circus art in the conference titled “Culture prospers” in the Upper Parliament Hall of the Hungarian Parliament Building, where many leaders of Hungarian national institute held a presentation. Today, on the 6th of March 2018 he made his speech in London, in the Palace of Westminster about the subject of circus art.
Today, on the 4th of March the guest of 15:00 Champions of the Carnival in the circus show was Aija Balode Latvian artist, who performed herself in the Capital Circus with her pigeon and dog act in 1986. The artist was first greeted by Andrejs Fjodorvs performer of the show, then the management of Capital Circus with one bucket of flower by each of them.
Today a new Hungarian Record was made in the Champions of the Carnival in the circus show at 11 o’clock: 17 years old Kevin Richter horseback acrobat – who performs in this show – set a new world record with his Hungarian Post production, in which he works with 20 splendid horses.
On the 24th of February, Saturday the Pedagogy Expo was held in the Budapest Congress Center where the Capital Circus presented its circus pedagogical programs. In front of our booth the students of the Baross Imre Institute of Artist Education performed.
In December 2017 the Hungarian Parliament unanimously voted for that the 22nd of February would be Hungarian Parasport Day. The Capital Circus also took part with pleasure in the festive events of Hungarian Paralympic Committee, and for this reason we held a gala show of Carnival of Champions in the Circus for para athletes on the 22nd of February 2018, at 16:30. Before the show we commemorated about the accomplishments of para athletes and Hungarian Parasport Day with two videos on the LED wall of Capital Circus.

“Culture prospers!” The Ministry of Human Capacities held a professional conference with this title in the Upper Parliament Hall of the Hungarian Parliament Building on the 22nd of February. Many noted experts gave a lecture about the role of culture and its reposition in the prosperity of the nation.

József Richter Jr. and his team returned from Monte Carlo with a Golden Clown Award! In celebration they made a lap of honour in Budapest in Heroes' Square, and they drove past Capital Circus!
